Adding window up/down buttons to center console

I have searched about anything I can think of but haven't seen anything even close to what I want to do.

I want to add some small toggle switches to my center armrest to operate the windows up/down. With the seat slid back, the stock switches are kind of a reach and if you have a drink in the holder, you have to move it first. I am assuming the the switches in the panel are just momentary toggle switches that I could connect the new switches to and operate that way.

Any help would be appreciated.
