Retrofit sport button R60 S

Hi guys

I now own my countryman S 2014 for a month. It hasn't got the sport button or sat nav screen or mfsw.
I sort of regret buying such a base car, but it had great mileage and a good price so my dad obviously persuaded me into this one instead of other r56 favorite's of mine.
Now my biggest regret is obviously the sport button. Right now it's probably always in mid and although I already did a muffler delete, no pops whatsoever.
I can't code the sport mode in bimmercode as I do not have the necessary module's available.

Has anyone retrofitted the sport button on a r60 s ?
I understand you'll probably need the whole centerconsole with the sport button but other than that, IS IT POSSIBLE TO CODE IT IN NCS EXPERT OR SOMETHING ELSE ?
I have talked to a lot of people in my vicinity but apparently not a lot of people know how to do it on a 60, but do on a 56,57,58,59 etc...

I'm really hoping someone can give me an exact answer on this.

Thank you so much

Easy peasy

Hey there, I have successfully retrofitted the sport button to my CM S. Just order a center console with the sprt button, remove yours and put in the one with the Sport button. Then you only need to add the VO $249 to the vehicle and default your modules and voila, you have now aggressive exhaust pops

Hi Philippe,

VO stands for Vehicle Order. When your car was ordered it was not equipped with the Order for the Sport Button, which is $4UF and not $249, which is the MF steering wheel, which I also retrofitted.

Now when you install the sport button it, the car wil not react as it doesnt have the sport mode enabled in its orders, the button doesnt do anything. But after you add the VO, it works like a charm.

You need to use a DCAN cable, NCSExpert, and the right DATEN files to code your car. For this you can follow the guide for the R56 Sport button retrofit.

hope this helps, ask if you need further help.

Hi,
Do you have a part number for the centre console?
Is it this one that would install under the toggle bank?

Here is a photo of my current console.

I would like to just buy the toggle switch if possible.

Part Number and Link to Thread

Hi all the part number for my centre console appears to be 9804923.

Check the second post on this, you can ignore the hardware part as you will be changing the whole centre console.
