Need help - NCS expert read DSC has error in CABD

I am doing R56 AT to MT swap, all mechanical works are done, I coded FRM, CAS, KOMBI last night successfully. When I checked DSC attributes in NCS dummy, I found a lot of them have values specified for AT or MT, so I logged in NCS expert again to rear DSC, but threw me an error message. I searched possible solutions and found 2 that succeed for most people.
- Update Daten version. I used the latest V63. NCS expert uses DSC_56.C05
- Blank MAN file and update to DSC to reset to the original setting. I did it, it gave me a same error message when I upload (SG_CODIEREN) the MAN file, also has DSC warning light on the cluster.

I installed the EasyBMWTools (162.9Mb), I wouldn't think the software is outdated.
Does anyone have an idea how to resolve this?

Did you also code the JBE?

I always get this error. as a result, I figured running through the commands when you select the DSC module in NCS one at a time won't hurt. I got the light to turn off and things were good. If that doent work for you, I think ISTA/P will program and code it using the new VO you modified.

Thanks for the reply.

NCS expert doesn’t have JBE module list.

I found several comments from other R owners, none of them can read DSC via NCS expert. I was told to use WinKfp to code the DSC. Just start readings things about WinKfp, I know how to update the module to a later daten file, but it doesn’t make sense to me how WinKfp knows I want to upload MT setting to DSC? I don’t believe that updating DSC module in WinKfp without changing attributes will resolve my issue.

I know nothing about ISTA/P at the moment, need time to learn it. But I feel really hard to find an article can tell me why rather step by step how to.

I checked the SPEG in NCS Dummy, I don't see anything links to transmission setting, what needs to change in SPEG?

Use INPA to clear the errors. 2 errors are still remain. 3099 for DME & 5DF3 for DSC.

Found coding explanation for 5DF3, it's for manual transmission only, 'Depending on the vehicle's equipment level, fault code 5DF3"Interface: DME/DDE signal fault" may be stored in either the Automatic Stability Control Module (ASC) or the Dynamic Stability Control Module(DSC).'.
3099 is no CAN message for EGS.

my guess is DME still think it's automatic, which conflicts the setting in DSC as a manual. Found online people update adaptation in INPA to let DME relearn the transmission. However my INPA gives me an error message when I try to access to transmission control.
