Lithium batteries for R56/s

Hi MINIacs!
I'm thinking about replacing my stock AGM battery in my 2013 R56s with a Lithium battery for weight savings. I figured it might be useful to start a thread on this topic. I've seen some posts about lithiums, but scattered across posts on batteries in general etc.., and most a bit older.

So, here we go. Questions I thought might be useful to address:

1. Has anyone done this, and if so with what results?
2. What batteries are out there, with what specs?
3. How about battery registration? The car sets charging parametes for replacement batteries based on battery type selected under registration, but AFAIK lithiums are not an option. What type should be selected?
4. How have they performed in the cold?

For starters, batteries to consider:

Deltran / Battery Tender BTL34A480C, 3.75 lbs, capacity 26 Ahrs, Pb-equiv Ah 35, 480 CCA, about $200

Braille GU1R, 6.4 lbs, 13 Ah, 'Li Ah 39', Pulse crank amps 947, about $600

there are probably many others, just wanted to throw something out there to start the list.

Cheers!
