I have the rear fog lights connected to their harness to work as that, fog lights... But I want to make them work as brake lights when fogs not in use. There's this "add a brake light" kit (basically wires to tap to the brake lights) that i'm planning to use.
Question is: is there a problem by doing this? Will i create some kind of loop or a condition where i can damage something if i send power when braking to the already conected fog lights wiring? Thank you!

Edit: I have a R57S 2009

If you're worried about feedback between the rear fogs and brake lights, just add a diode into the voltage feed wire for both systems. They'll act as a "one way valves" and prevent feedback.

The kit to make them work as brake lights comes with diodes, so I'm guessing I should add my own diodes to the stock fog lights voltage?

Thank you!

I'm not familiar with the kit you're referring to but you need at least 2 diodes: one between the fogs and the oem input voltage for the fogs and a separate diode between the fogs and the brake light voltage input.

This kit we have left over from when they use to make them already has the diodes in them.

Thank you, I'll go with way motor kit, as it describes exactly what I need.
