Sprintbooster

Hello. I've read about the Sprintbooster here and on the general interwebs but have not seen an answer to my question. I have an '11 S and absolutely hate the throttle pedal lag. I cant drive the car smoothly for the life of me even after 6 months of trying to get used to it. My wifes '12 Countryman is a different story; I have no problems at all which I think is due to the fact that I cannot detect any pedal lag in her car.

I am not interested in making the throttle wide open at 50% pedal travel, which is what the different settings for the Sprintbooster do (if I understand correctly). I just want to get rid of the delay when I push on the pedal off idle.

Sprintbooster owners, should I join you? Can I just get rid of the lag?

No change. Side bar, thinking of autosport mod in near future though.

The SprintBooster v2 should definitely help that. To be 100% sure, you should contact them. Visit their website, select "CONTACT" in the very top right.

Look at the D1 Spec Throttle Controller. Same thing as the Sprint Booster but with a lot more control. You will be able to dial in exactly what you want you throttle to feel like.

Hmm, manual tranny? Not that it should matter... this doesn't sound right, ask the dealer. You shouldn't have that much lag even in sport mode.
