Installing Chrono Gauge Package in Stock Dash

I have a 2005 MCS with stock gauges. Does anyone know whether the Chrono Gauge Package is plug and play in a stock Mini or are difference wiring harnesses required? Thanks in advance

been tried many times...
don't think anybody has made it work 100%
Issues include the parts ALL CARY the VIN# and miles...results in a missmatch
the warning lights are different on the speedo/rpm's with the chrono kit...so all 3 MUST BE CHANGED or random lights will be lit..they are different part numbers...
So IMO just add aftermarket guages...
I have and LOVE the chrono pack...but a decent set of well installed gauges, installed with maybe cravenspeed mounts will give the same info for less effort...and not impact the value of the car by giving you a VIN and mile missmatch.

Thanks Zippy and teach. I was planning on swapping all three but it appears that there are still glitches with vin, mileage and idiot type lights, no?

Using new, uncoded gauges should work, but needs programming by the dealer. I've read of a swap done by a MINI dealer with new parts, about $2000 out the door.

Seems like a lot of grief just to get oil temp and oil pressure.

That's a cool looking set of gauges. Haven't seen that one before. I'll probably go with Cravenspeed's boost and oil pressure gauges. Thanks all for the input.
