door lock problems!

2003 MCS, I'm having large issues. My passenger side door lock went out a while ago, I left it as is for the time being, I figured I would get around to it, but not a big issue for me.

Well, I pulled off the door panel to take a look, and all was well, no power to it. I assumed it was the motor and put it back together until I saved up for the part.

I also pulled the fuse, and checked it out. Put the fuse back in, and that's when my problem started. Now my interior door lock/unlock button does nothing. My key fob still works for unlock, but not lock, and my windows and sunroof roll down, but not up with the key in the door. Normally, I'd say "to hell with it" and leave it, but my biggest issue, is that my hatch stays unlocked at all times. I need to get this problem fixed but I don't have the slightest clue what the problem might be. I wouldn't think wiring, since it all worked until I pulled the fuse.

Has anyone else had this issue? Or does anyone have the slightest clue? Please help! thanks!

Take the fuse out and throw it in the bin. Put in a new one.

Next get your multimeter and the schematic from bmwplanet and begin looking for clues .
