Remote Controller Problem...

I was washing the car when i realized that there was water entering from my 'closed' sun roof in the cabin ....... i did my best to wipe everything,
30 minutes later i drove the car for 5 minutes...when i tried to lock it...nothing at all!
I tried the 2nd remote key....it was dead!
It didn't burn a fuze, the car operates ,the only problem is i can't use the remote key functions...
please if somebody knows would be very helpful

Problem solved

Hi guys...I am just answering my problem so that i can help you if you deal with the same issue.
It seems that when the water penetrated the roof the lickage was through the center rear view mirror.
Inside the mirror you will find the remote control receiver which is a ''chip'' that cannot handle moisture(as all)!!
That receiver (luckily for me) was not burnt but due to the corruption it started a contact problem. I used some contact spray and alchohol to ''clean'' the circuits....plugged it in and it worked!!!! In order to remove the rear view mirror twist it 90 degrees from the headliner (CCW) , seperate the base of the mirror in two, unplug the cable and start unclipping the front lip of the mirror.....there are a couple of screws to get the receiver out....(piece of cake for you)
Hope helping you with my simple instructions.
