Add options before Modules, Problem?

If I code my ECU with added options like sport mode, weather band radio, satellite radio but have not yet installed the modules or rewired the DSC, will the menu show up on the dash/radio but simply not function, or will problems arise?

You can code the Sport Button option at any time. If the actual button isn't present then the computer will just ignore the input - just as if you had never pressed it. When you get around to wiring the button in at some later time then it will just work at that point.

I recall someone mentioning that they tried enabling the weather band option and it didn't seem to do anything. I haven't tried it myself so I can't comment on whether it works or not.

As for coding options for new features such as satellite radio (that depend on adding modules) - this isn't recommended. If the computer systems are expecting to see other modules and they aren't present then it is likely that you will see some errors thrown. This sort of coding is best done once the new modules are actually installed.
