Install or not install?

Hello I bought these welcome lights that go into the bottom of the doors and project the mini logo on the ground, but to do this I would need to drill big holes in the doors. So has anyone done this before ? Should I go for it and get them put in or should I forget all about it

Well you bought them already. DO IT. Puddle lights are nice. And you've got the logo so it should be a neat detail. Hope you got normal white.

If you don't think you can do it I would have someone else.

You really think that will fit in the door and allow the window to go all the way down? Lol good luck with that.

I have puddle lights on my Range Rover Evoque that is projected from underneath the side view mirrors. It's the very first sketch of the Evoque when it was designed. I've always wished Mini had this, very neat detail.

use the "holes" already there! the Square ones for the under door lights. You can drill into the existing plastic, or add your own piece. It cant be that expensive to replace those little plastic covers if you wanted to change back, and then you dont have an extra hole in the door.
