Did you get the alarm as an option? Only cars with the alarm option the US have this feature.

If you tell me what module, I can give you a trace. We have this option on our Canadian spec car

Hi, thanks for the answer.

one guy from bmw coding told it is SONDERTASTE_PANIKALARM (CAS module) which is nicht_aktiv but must be set to akvit

I tried to do that but I got a error with NCS EXPERT and it won't proceed. I suppose it is because I should activate something else before that.

I have no problem to change other codes in CAS or other modules. Just that SONDERTASTE_PANIKALARM I can't change it.

NCS EXPERTS error is:

"Error in CABD! Look at CABI.ERR and ERROR.LOG!
COAPI-1043: error during processing CBD-file CAS3.C09"

I repeat if I try to change other codes everything go fine. Maybe I should activate something else somewhere else.. I am not sure about that.

Any help would be very appreciated. Thank you.

Also have a look here, they say it should be activated with other parameters but I am not sure if they will work on MINI.

aaahhh... I got it... But did not test it yet.

SONDERTASTE_PANIKALARM can be 'nicht_aktiv' or 'panikalarm' no 'aktiv' ahah LOL

Thanks for support anyway...

Yes, it works I confirm.

You should add this new discovery to your list on page 1.

SONDERTASTE_PANIKALARM nicht_aktiv --> (change to) panikalarm

It will allow panic alarm holding the trunk button on key fob.
