Thanks, will the taillight rings fit an r56? I would like to know as I plan on placing an order today/tonight.

 

The tail light rings will fit, however, I cannot order them at this time and it will be a couple months before they come available. I would suggest waiting to order any black line pieces from us until we make an annoucement.

I ordered the headlight and taillight surrounds which have been on backorder for two weeks now. I'll be patiently waiting. Just won't be on my MCS for MoT. I want to know what the black line side scuttles look like? MINI should have also offered both a black line beltline kit, exterior door handles, and gas filler cap.

 

I just ordered the tail lights and rings, Ill post pics as soon as they arrive.

 

No R55 black line pieces? Boo.

 

What was the price and when is it supposed to come in?

 

The R56 headlight black line pieces fit the R55. Do you have the black tail lamp trim now or do you have the silver trim? If you have the silver trim just swap it out with the black trim.

Why didn't MINI offer blackline trim for the exterior door handles, gas filler door, and belt line?

 

I spoke to the parts counter at Knauz BMW today and they said the price per taillight was about $140, but they are unable to order them and the only stock is in Germany.

 

How about If I have Headlight washer.. does the blackout ring fit that?

 

I'll take the whole kit for my 2011 MCS ASAP!!!

 

The h/l washer nozzle trim is a separate piece from the headlight trim ring. You could always paint them color code 668 Black to match the trim rings.

 

I emailed MINI of Chicago about the blackline taillamps...they responded saying the part #s I gave them "are no longer available"...do they mean they are not yet available?

 

RealOEM still lists the Blackline, but Sewell is now hiding(?) them. Maybe they were getting too many requests for parts that don't officially exist yet, and got tired of it.

 

I want those tail lights STAT They would fit quite nicely with my car. I managed to tint my side turn signals OK so I am not as concerned about those.

 

My order was bounced back from BMW, guess Ill try again later.

 

FYI there has been a release of headlight rings today. I show 29 available as of now.
