IIRC, that's when the rear tail light rings changed. The grill surround and front light surrounds still are the same, just the back rings changed with the LCI models...

 

The headlight and tail light surrounds will fit all R56s, R57s, R58s, and R59s. The difference in the Black Line Kit is the led tail lights and rear fogs are for LCI only.

 

What does IIRC stand for and when exactly did LCI cars start coming out?

As far as the LED tail lights, did the shape change, or is it a wiring issue?

 

IIRC is the acronym for "If I Recall(or Remember) Correctly".

8/2010 is when the LCI models came out. The tails shape is the same but the difference is the LCI is led and the reverse light is moved to the bumper.

Since the shape is the same, then I'm guessing with a little extra wiring the LCI light could work on a non-LCI?

 

I've seen it down but what are you going to do for reverse lights?

 

I was thinking the reverse light wires could be lengthen to hook up to the LCI reverse lights in the bumper.

 

Or just order the wiring harness from MINI.

super easy! when i plasti dipped the chrome ones i used an old credit card to get it started and then was able to use my fingers

 

I just picked up a set of blackline side markers today. The only set in the country lol

Went to install the tail light trim and come to find out ECS sent me two lefts. I called their customer service and they are sending out the right side at no charge and the cs rep I dealt with told me to keep the incorrect part.

 

thats a bummer. i got mine 2 weeks ago and love them!

 

It take another 4 weeks for me to recieve the correct side. But worth the wait! They look awesome!

 

I finally got mine from ECS, took about a month.

I had black rear taillight surrounds on order for a while at ECS and the expected arrival date was January but is now February 14.

Does anyone know where to find the blackout taillight surrounds 51132296297 and 51132296296 in stock?

No kidding! The guy at ECS told me they are a euro part and none of the warehouses have them. So I guess it will be a while.

 

I'm really thinking about sending some money towards my uncle in Europe to order me the parts and send it here. All I want is the black HL and TL rings...then my car can be complete!
