Electrical LCI or Countryman system changes?
LCI or Countryman system changes?
Okay, so I had a Countryman as a loaner vehicle and noticed many differences from my 08 R56.
First, the auto tranny shifted into 6th gear while the sport mode was engaged (my car locks out 6th is DS mode). Do all the LCI (2011+) cars do this???? If so, I want to try changing my VO build date and recode the EGS to see if I can enable this feature.
Second, I noticed the gong sound was much more gentle and pleasant. I wonder if modifying the build date in the VO and coding the radio would change my gong sound? The only problem I think I have is my software version is too old as my last vehicle update was October of 2009.
Third, the pop and burble was really sweet with the sport mode on. I know I can't do with my non-turbo, but I wouldn't be surprised if someone with an recently updated DME could change their build-date to get the pop-and-burble on a pre-LCI car.
