Replacement of Xenon Bulb

I have a 2003 MCS with Xenons. I'm looking for some lower cost/affordable options for replacing a burned out low beam bulb.

Can you fit a non-xenon bulb without problems? If so, any recommendations?

Thank you in advance for any responses.

Below is a link to a site you may consider ordering from. Keep in mind that you should consider ordering new bulbs for both sides, not just one side, Otherwise you will end up with different colors until the new Xenon bulb breaks in. Even after the break-in period, you may notice different shades of color because of OEM vs. aftermarket brands.

This site also provides the option of different Xenon colors: stock yellowish color, purple, or blue.

Are you sure the bulb is bad? Is it intermittent or simply never lights? Did you try moving the bulb to the other side to see if the problem moves too? There is an igniter (I hope that is not your problem) and a control box that could also be bad. I am trying to prevent your getting a bulb that doesn't solve the problem.

Thanks Rich, I will run through those checks. The low beam is out and has stayed out, not intermittent. I'll swap bulbs tonight and see what happens.

If you need xenon bulbs, get some from ebay. I bought mine for about 20 bucks each. They're about 3 years old now and still running fine, so its not crap quality. Don't pay 200+, splurge on mods
