Lately my radio dislplay in my 07 has been fading in the heat. It never fully recovers. Soon my display will be permantly blank. Anybody else had this problem.

 

I have not heard of that before.

But depending on when you actually bought the car you may have some warranty left I.E 50Kmiles or 4 years which ever comes first. That would be the way to go if you can as the parts are rather expensive.

Needs to be replaced and that seems to be the only way to clear the problem up.

Hope your car is still under warranty.

 

My 2011 did this several months back--replaced the whole radio head unit, but hasn't returned since.

 

Mine fades when its hot out or has been on for a while but it comes back when its cool/cold outside.
