anyone know, I'm thinking about getting some blue bulbs, the orange ones don't quite match up with my xenons.

If DRLs are programmed on your R53, they are just your Hi beams with reduced power. Xenons are 5000k, and will not match up with the "Blue" bulbs either. All you do when you convert to those bulbs is reduce your bad weather vision.
