Override Factory Driving Lamps Outside of High Beams

Has anyone traced the relay or circuit to override the use of the factory / dealer front driving grill lights on the R55/R56/R57 platform?
They only work on high beams; I would love to have them as an independant light with low beams, or with the fogs.

I don't have oem driving lights but I presume there's a relay in the system so they will run off a separate circuit from your high beams. Where is the voltage coming from to trigger the relay? Once you determine that you should be able to source the trigger voltage from another source that's only on when the ignition switch is on (cigarette lighter?). Then the lights will illuminate anytime the driving light switch is in the on position. Seems like it would be inconvenient to me because you'd have to manually turn off the driving lights anytime you're meeting oncoming traffic.
