You have to clear it with the engine off from what I've heard then start the engine up afterwards, I could be wrong but it doesn't hurt to try it.

Is there codes working for EOT (Engine Oil Temperature) and EOP (Engine Oil Pressure) for Mini Cooper non-S R56 N16?
