Wire a toggle to LED???

HELP!, I have an '03 R50. With a 4 toggle control unit. I'd like to have my aftermarket interior mood lighting be contolled by adding a fifth OEM toggle switch to the unit. I recently bought a used 5 toggel control unit to hook up to the mood light LEDs.Can the lights be spliced into the stock wire hardness on the back of the toggle module? If so how? I guess I would like to use the DSC switch to turn the lights on and off. Can anyone help

The main issue you'll have to deal with is that the toggle switches are momentary -- they close the circuit only while the switch is being pressed. To make your lights toggle on/off, you can connect the switch to a latching relay.

Someone else wanted to use a toggle switch to control lights and posted this, which might be useful: https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...738-post1.html
