ACS - Dashboard function
My 02 Cooper S has been having intermittent times when the dashboard electronics fail (tach, speedo, warning lights, etc.).
It's had 2 wiring harness replacements in the last 2 years.
The dealer said that the ASC (auto stability control) is "throwin an error" and that's affecting the "Can Bus."
Anyway, the part is 760.00 and labor is 300.00.
Does this sound legitmate?

How sure are they it will fix it? Sounds like they were wrong the last 2 times....I might be inclined to check with a second dealer, or maybe a specialist...it sounds like they are swapping out parts hopeing to have the issues disappear...are they refunding back to you the cost of the uneeded wireing harnesses?!
