Third Reverse Light Help.

I had bought the third reverse light kit and put it on my 2006 R50 with no problems. It worked great. Now I just bought a 2006 R53 and swapped it on to it. I got the dead wire tapped up underneath and plugged it in. And then I hooked that transfer wire to the same two wires in the rear side compartment that I did on my R50. One end spliced to the yellow w/ brown stripe in the wad of wires, and then the other end to the blue wire with a yellow stripe up near the tail light. Same wires that I had it hooked to on my R50, but for some reason now, I can't get to work. Any ideas? I don't have the instructions from the kit, as I got it some time ago. I checked and double checked my connections, but am still stuck. Help! Thanks.

The wire colors are correct. Make sure that the jumper is installed in the correct direction. It has a diode that would prevent operation if installed backwards. If that wasn't the problem, contact mini-rolls, the creator of the kit.

Ahhh.... Thank you very much. That very well may be the problem.
