LED conversion for gauges?

So has anyone converted their incandescent aftermarket gauges to LED's? I really like the look of Stewart Warners Maximum Performance series gauges but I think they use incandescent bulbs, might not be the right color or intensity. Found these on a website, has anyone done this? Thanks.

I've had a few different LEDs in my gauges, although I haven't tried the ones you posted above.

Here's my post from a different thread...

...I still have the AutoZone ones in there now...and they actually turn more orange as they warm up.

I'm going to try to get the Oznium ones in this weekend.

They have alot of cool stuff. Looks I'm going to go with some Marshall gauges now, just saw some today and they match very good.

Cool site, man...thanks for linking it.

Keep us posted as to which LEDs you end up using...color match...brightness...etc.

I was just checking out the Marshall gauges...pretty nice. I wish my Autometer gauges had through-the-dial illumination, that makes them look so much better at night.
Maybe I missed them, but I didn't see any 2 5/8" full sweep electrical gauges on the site.

I talked to the Marshall people today and they said they don't have enough call for the 2 5/8" gauges to warrant building a SCX version. I can find out how much it would cost and the minimum quantity order they would need to do the SCX in that size since they will do small custom orders.

I am running the Stewart Warner Maximum Performance gauges in my car. I bought them thru the following web site:

www.42draftdesigns.com

They also sell a amber LED bulb that fits the Stewart Warner gauges and exactly matches stock color. They took good care of me.

You'll like Oz's lights. I have set of flexi strips in orange below climate control box above area of cig lighter plug. Turns on with parking lights. Looks OEM and brightens that area up at night.

Very nice website, thanks Thats the most information I have seen on the SW gauges, and that includes actually calling SW.
