I'll snap a shot later with my phone of the placement. I'll try to get one of the wires, but I'm not promising anything. Nothing fancy on that end though. I just used wire taps and followed the JCW install instructions. My only problem was I started at midnight after a long day. I wasn't thinking too straight and just put the green with green/blue stripe, black with brown, and red with white/red stripe. Green goes to white/red stripe, and red goes to green/blue stripe.
Oh and use the red wire taps not the blue!

Okay, here is a couple of quick shots of the light. I ran the wire on the same path as the radar, and it is just resting on the mirror. It does not move or rattle, and is very visible.
I tried putting it in the defrost vent first, but it would not fit. I really wanted to put it where the dash light dimmer is, but it's too long and would hit the circuit board behind it. They make a smaller light that would probably work there, but you have to also get the sender unit. Anyway, this will work for now. BTW, the one lit up is in the start up mode. When it goes off all 7 lights light.

At the OBD II port, Green goes to white/red stripe, red goes to green/blue stripe and Black goes to Brown.

Hay, I'm a vendor now

So I can talk about our shiftlight, the ProShift.

Basically, it's a shiftlight on steroids. It has an RGB LED for infinite colors, speed and RPM inputs for gear dependant shift point, streams RPM and speed data out of it's USB port for data logging, and one version has 4 digital outputs for controlling whatever you want, like IC sprayers.

The site is up at www.fes-auto.com

AutoXCooper is one of the beta testers. Since I'm now a "biased vendor" you can ask him questions if you want. Anyway, hope some find interest in this product. We benchmarked all the shiftlights out there and ours has more features than any shiftlight offered on the market.

Matt
