Trailer lights wiring?

Anybody has the colors of the wires for installing a tow harness for a trailer? I have a Hopkins 46255 Powered Taillight converter. I am having trouble finding the right color wires to connect it.
Thanks

Get a probe style test light. Ground it with the attached alligator clamp and then turn on the left blinker and probe wires until the test light blinks in time with the left blinker. Repeat the process for the right and have someone hold the brakes for the brake lights.

Thanks! I got it. Shoot photos. I will post a DIY later. It was very easy and looks great.

Posted this last summer when I was doing my 2007 car.

2008 cars could be different, as 2007 differs from 2006 and prior.

Amazon wrong

It appears amazons "will it work on your car feature" is wrong.
If you are saying it worked on you 2007.
Hopefully it will work on my 2002 R50.
Anyone else tried this?

Hate to hijack you thread but I am getting a trailer and have a converter I had for me previous car that I never installed. I was thinking of using it on the mini but it is a passive converter that just takes the 3 singinal and makes 2. Does the MINI have to use one of the powered ones that uses the bat for power and the lights just for signal or can I use this one?
Thanks

I would be VERY cautious about using the passive converter on a MINI. The Body Control Module on these cars is VERY antsy about increased loads... adding the additional load of the trailer lights could very well be enough to overload the BCM... and then you're looking at a godawful expensive non-warranty repair. Spend a few bucks and be safe.
