Remote line in an R56?

Hey you guys, I havn't been able to find a definitive answer for this simple question but... what fuse should I tap so that I can use it as my remote line?

I've already taken a look at the "Hot or Not" post, but couldn't make heads or tails of it...

Thanks!

I think you should define what is "remote line" before anyone will reply

True... It's the remote line a.k.a. a circuit which is on only when the ignition is on so I can control my signal processor and amplifier.

Okay, favorite website of the day:

http://www.mcaw.info/wds/mini/us/r56/index.htm

(you need IE under Windows with the Adobe SVG plugin loaded)

That site lets you go through wiring diagrams, including showing you where the different parts are located in your car. Tremendous resource!

If you're putting an amp in the boot, the aux power connector in the boot is switched with the ignition, so you can use that. It's the same line that runs to the aux connector (cig jack) in the centre console, so if you're hiding things under the passenger or driver's seat, you can pick it off there as well. That circuit also runs off a 20 amp fuse, depending on how big your amp is.

I've only had basic electronics but I don't totally understand the hot or not nomenclature either.
