Wiring to mirror control panel help

Looking to install driving light switches on each side of my outside mirror adjustment ****. Can I run the wires from there up to the dash without having to remove the center console? That's really more work than I was hoping for...

bump...I really wanted to have this done before MTTS. I've given on on NOT removing the center console, but can't figure out how to do it. I've removed all for screws (under the mirror control panel and the cupholders) but the storage unit under the toggle switch still has it trapped as do the downtubes. Those I can loosen but am a bit skittish about removing (requires removing the fascia below the speedo).

1) How is the stupid storage unit connected? I removed the T-15 screw at the top, but something is still holding it and I can't find it, and that seems to be a key part in getting the console out...

2) I can't get the wiring connectors off the mirror control panel (well, one of them). Both seem to have little "nubs" for security but only one clips is accessible and that one even took a lot of time to get.

3) Is there a better way???
