Electrical AUX input question

AUX input question
This might have been covered in other posts but I can't seem to find them anywhere...yes, I know how to use the search feature.
I have a 04 MCS with Nav and I went to install a AUX input only to find something already plugged into the slot. Is the plug that's in there for the nav unit? If I unplug it does that mean that I wont get audio commands for my directions?

You are correct. It is on this site somewhere. I read about it yesterday but for the life of me can't figure out where it is. Try doing a search for MP3. That might be how I stumbled upon it. I know the post had pictures, too.
