Just wondering if you know if the switch for the flat tire monitor is an "on off" polarity...

Moral of the post is I am looking to wire up my driving lights and I was gonna wire then to a switch in the ebrake console, and I was gonna use a flat tire reset switch but I dont know if it is a push for on, push again for off type of switch..

Any ideas if it is... or what kind of switch I can use in its place... Thanks

 

Pretty sure that switch is just "momentary contact" type.

Is there any on...off... type switches in the mini that will fit in that second opening next to the drivers seat?

 

The OEM driving light switch appears to be orderable as a separate part:

I'm not POSITIVE that it is separately usable as an on-off style- but suspect it is... you'd have to figure a way to connect to it without the harness (or buy the factory harness also)...
