Headlight problem?

Hi everyone

I went to get my headlights adjusted ( xenon with washing system, 06' Cooper s) and my dealer ended up replacing the driver's side headlight. The one that they replaced is acting funny. When you turn it on it's got the HID color but after a few seconds (2 to 4) it goes to a standard yellowish color. It's not that yellow, but there's definitely a difference between my passenger's side which is original! What is this and any ideas on how I should fix it???

Thanks!

This has been asked before and folks were saying it's due to the Xenon being "new" and not as burned in as the original. The poster said it would eventually turn the same shade as the other one.

I don't know how accurate any of that might be. Anyone else remember?

I got my mini August 2006. So I hope it burns out and they both become the same shade.
