On board computer problem after installing aftermarket HIDs

i would appreciate it if anyone could give me some advice!
i have an 07 MCS and got aftermarket HIDs installed at a shop...they managed to adjust the light for me so that oncoming traffic won't be affected too much by the glare..anyway..this is not my question...my question is that i get an alert every time i turn on my car...i dont know much about these things but im guessing that because less power is required so the on board computer may think that my lights hv burnt out or sth..

what can i do to remove the alert? it's driving me nuts. i know the dealers can do something if they want to about the on board computer...but i called my dealer and they said probably won't do it and if they will it will be about $150 to do so...which i will have to call on monday to find out whether they can do it (most likely not due to the fact that i installed aftermarket HIDs)

i live in OC..if anyone can help out i'll be really happy, thanks!

Reprogramming

Good luck with your dealer. Mini is driving me nuts with the reprogramming excuse. I installed rear fogs, toggle and new toggle switch plate cover and it also requires reprogramming. Mini dealers do not have a "factory approved" reprogramming authorization, yet, and so my dealer will not do it. The excuse, if the car develops electrical problems, burns up, etc., they, the dealer are not covered by Mini USA, etc. and would have to pay for the damage. Good luck and let me know if your dealer will do it.
