Electrical Urgent: Keep Blowing Fuse (Hardwiring Sportser 5)
Urgent: Keep Blowing Fuse (Hardwiring Sportser 5)
I'm in the middle/end of cleaning up my Sirius Sportster 5 hardwiring and have come to a complete halt. I've got the following set up:
Add-A-Fuse (Mini) @ F21 (10 A)
\ Wired to Female Cigarette Lighter Adapter (Grounded on bolt to the right)
\ Sportster 5 Cigarette Lighter Power Adapter
Sportster 5
It has not worked successfully and I need help
I've gone through three 10 A fuses hoping for it to just magically work as I can see no problem
Again, please help!

I gave this a nice long thought, went back, and switched the cigarette adapter's "positive" and "ground", just to see what if... 'Lo and behold, it worked! I was going off someone elses post about which end was the ground as it wasn't labeled and the info was the reverse. Blah! I'm definitely happy now (just put on the ALTA Turbo Inlet Hose, too, and tomorrow is JCW E-brake Handle day) :D
