Horn Beep on Lock

Ok I went through the first five pages and couldn't find anything and search is not working on my browser for some reason. So if there is a thread about this elsewhere please free to link me the existing thread.

I am wondering if anyone with an 07 Cooper has made it so when you lock the car the horn sounds(or wired a separate speaker or such) to make the car audibly acknowledge that it has locked (I'm guessing if you get the Alarm it does but I don't have that).

I mainly want this because I'm so used to every other car I've owned audibly telling me it's locked and my wife's Cooper doesn't and like it too.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Don't know about the R56, but I wired in a piezo "buzzer" from Radio Shack. Connected it to the wiring that lock's the gas cap, in the drivers side rear cubby . Less than $20 and easy to do. Loud enough so that you can hear it without waking up the dead. There was a thread about a year or so back that walked you through the details.
