replacing factory Driving lights

I want to replace factory driving lights with Hellas. The adjustments on factory ones really suck. Has anyone reused the factory wiring with Hellas and if so were there any problems?

Ditto on the suck part The factory ones have too narrow of a beam.Between the narrow light pattern and the low level of the car and the poor adjustments they're impossilbe. What I really need are fogs and Better adjusters.

Driving lights are supposed to have a narrow spread. That is there reason to exist.

However, you can always add additional fogs down low. I did ... OEM driving lights and Hella fogs down low

If the beam's so focused and the up and down adjustment is so poor you will never have the road lit up in the right spot. Its about shallow beam angles and trying to get the road lit up right where you need that's impossible. Correction, its not impossible ,but they won't stay there long anyway.

Having installed both Hella and factory sets I can't say I noticed any significant difference in the power end of the harness. The Hellas I installed were about the same physical size as the factory so no difference in the amperage I'd guess. I doubt you'd have a problem.
