Is there a good guide to remove the raido

I just got the Aux adapter, and I cant seem to get the tubes off

1 on the driver side, the top Torex is blocked by the knee bolster, how do i get that off..

2. how do I get the mirror controles out to get the two screws on the bottom.

3 do i need to take off the plate that goes around the speedo

I have an 06 Mini S.

looks like unscrew torx, push down, push to the side, remove screws. no down tube removal needed.

Also, if you want to remove them completly you have to remove the center piece of your dash, the speedo part, to do this you just grab at the bottom and pull towards yourself. Pop off the trim around the hazard button and dimmer button 1st though, also just a pull off thing.

Jeremy it's an 06, the down tubes are bigger at the bottom and won't come unless you remove the center console between the seats.

They don't come out as easy as ours.

Follow what golden_child says. You do not need to actually remove the tubes. After you remove the downtube screws, the tubes can slide down and be tilted to the sides to expose the screws holding the radio.
