R50 crankshaft pulley

So my r50 is having a pretty normal issue with the stock crank pulley going out/ becoming unbalanced. I have read that the oem part is likely to go out fairly quickly too. Outmotoring has an aftermarket pulley which is much cheaper, however my local iowa city mechanic is not willing to install it. Anyone with experience in this area or has any advice would be awesome. Thanks

The PRW fluid damper 2510901 is for the R50. 2510900 for the R53. Don't get a solid pulley. Check it on Amazon. Get a new OE crank bolt when swapping. Use a crow-foot pulley puller to get your old 1 out. You need to heat the new pulley for easy install. Search for the ATI Super Damper install instructions. I can't remember the ATI part number for the R50, but for the 53, it's 917992.
