The June Autocross will be held on the 8 at Indian Hills Collage in town campus near the auto tech building. In Ottumwa, IA

The coarse will be tight and not real fast. but it will be challenging. Concrete parking lot if available, if not will use the asphalt one. rain or shine.
sign in at noon, start at 1:00. $15 minimum of five runs.

There is always a wide range of vehicles that attend our events. So bring what you got and drive it like you stole it.

 

June autocross was awesome. Weather was near perfect, at least it wasnt raining.
We had 20 or so very good drivers conquering a very tight challenging coarse.

We even had a fun run afterwards in reverse direction. Great fun.

Thanks to everyone that attended. Special thanks to Trashed that stopped by on his home. And took home 3rd in the first class. Congrats.

 

One heck of a fun event!!! You had a lot of nice fast cars competing.

It was a pleasure talking with you and all the drivers and club members.

Definitely going to try to make an event at the old Pekin air strip as that sounds like a blast!!!

 

How many minis are you getting at these events?

 

Well we had two at the first one and one at the last one. We normally have a wide range of cars. BMW,SUBARU,MINI,CORVETTE,MUSTANG,LOTUS,TOYOTA,AUDI ,S10 and many others.The normal sporty stuff that you would see at a autocross, and some stuff that might surprise you. We do not cater to one kind of vehicle, nor do we shun any. I would like to see allot more Minis come out and play but i don't think there is a lot in this area and it just might not be their thing. If interested you should come over and check it out. Lots of fun. Have you autocross before?

 

Never done autocross but it looks like a ton of fun. Once you get the July venue announced I will try and make it to that one!

 

It looks like July event will be at Indian Hills Community College. Ottumwa, IA. This would be a good place for a first autocross. Lots of turns and over all not to big.
