Made it home around 6:30 pm tonight. About 10 minutes later than it should have been...a friendly Minnesota officer of the law delayed me just west of Spring Valley, only 60 miles from home. Just received a warning, thank goodness...
Such a long list of great memories, too many to enumerate tonight. I'll need to give it some more reflection. Anyway, another fantastic outing with such wonderful people. Thanks to everyone.
Here's my quick and dirty upload of pics. No captions yet, but some photos are just begging for one --

Hope you all made it home safe and sound!

Did we have an Amazing time or what?!
Love the photos Gary and Daryl (Dairil).
I've got over 400 pics to go thru and I'll try and pick the best 5 or 6 of each day. Hopefully that will tell our side of the adventure. As soon as they're ready I'll post it here.
Red 5 had a wonderful time. She thinks you guys are sooo cool and can't wait to turn 16 and get her own MINI so she can join us.
Met new MINI friends...thanks for the company on the trip home Melissa & Mike.
For Gary-
On the trip home we stopped for lunch at Arby's and you went on your own way. As we were eating I commented on how our group started as "The Fellowship of the Ring" and then we kept losing people leaving Red 5 & I as the "Frodo and Sam" to make the journey since we had the farthest to go. Anyway you get the point and we got the laugh. I've rambled too long.
Thanks 4 the memories everyone!!

Hey all --
It would be really cool to have you share your own memories of this fun event...and here's how you can:
Go to the new posting on our EIM Website (<--link) and leave a comment with your own list. I've already started the process by leaving a comment with my list. It's easy.
Can't wait to hear from you!
Note: Don't forget to solve the little math problem at the bottom of the comment page BEFORE you hit the "Submit Comment" button.

Speaking of the "pit stop" photo, it looks like that big rock landed on Daryl's head...and he emerged unscathed, while the rock did not.

Official Photo
If you haven't seen the official event photo, which is posted on the High Plains site, here's the link. It's a great shot.

OBTW, I absolutely love your pics. It's neat to see things from so many different perspectives. The colors in your Badlands photos are especially cool. You really captured the "snow motoring" too!
Edit: Added to the website gallery (326 pics in there now!)

Linda, your link seems to require Flickr login credentials (which I have, but others may not).
