It's a welcome trip back to the Quad Cities on Saturday, May 22nd for the inaugural EIM MINI-ssippi Eats and Sweets. Gary and Linda S. have graciously assembled a fun itinerary that provides for some good eating and affords a great opportunity for our group to explore and enjoy downtown Moline!

Here are the proposed activities:

10:30 am - Arrive at the River House Bar and Grill in Moline
(park, take pics, socialize -- Gary and Linda will have designated MINI parking saved in an obvious spot on the east side of the block)

11:00 am - Lunch (private room upstairs for our group; order off the menu)

12:15 pm - Depart for visits to the Deere Pavillion and/or Isabel Bloom as desired

1:30 pm - Riverfront stop for pictures

2:15 pm - Dessert and more socializing at Whitey's Ice Cream Parlor

I'll be heading back from fishing in southern Iowa still on the 22nd so don't think Ill be making this event :( Darned busy schedules.

Taz is itching to get on the road again. Even if he is wearing a pair of someone else's shoes.

 

I hate to miss a mini event in my own back yard but Jan and I leave for Florida tomorrow morning. (Driving the mini) Not that it needs to be said - TAKE LOTS OF PICTURES !

 

I will be coaching the last soccer game of the season so I will catch the next event have fun everyone!!

Excellent pictures, Linda. The people pictures are wonderful! You should be able to do something very creative with that picture of Tom, about to be scooped up!

 

Excellent pics indeed...thanks! Just finished adding them to the website gallery. I have a suspicion that there's a candidate or two in that batch for next year's EIM desk calendar.

Larry must have been in hog heaven with all of those companion red MINIs...

I think someone should have drove their MINI up onto the Deere display next to that big piece of equipment for a quick pic.
