EIM and MTTS 2010

EIM and MTTS 2010
Well, the Chicago rendezvous and subsequent route for MINI Takes the States (MTTS) 2010 isn't quite what I was hoping for from an EIM perspective.
I had visions of a giant MINI caravan passing through our area on I-80 over a weekend. As it turns out, the assembly in Chicago will be on Sunday, August 8th and will first head southeast to Indianapolis before subsequent stops in St. Louis and Kansas City and the final capstone event in Denver on 13-15 August in conjunction with the annual MINIs in the Mountains (MITM) event. I guess it make sense that they want to emphasize the big urban centers along the route.
Maybe there will be some events in Chicago prior to the departure for Indy...we'll keep an eye out for them. ( I'd love to get a MTTS 2010 window sticker to update my '08 version.) Anyway, we've got a lot of fun local stuff going on that following weekend (Aug 14-15) too.

Are any of the EIMs planning on participating in MTTS and heading to Chicago for the start of the midwest route?
I'm half considering heading to Chicago and running the whole midwestern route to Denver.
I wish I had made the time for MTTS in 2006 and taken a week off to participate in more of the rally. So here's my chance.
Anyone?
