AWE Tuning MINI F56 S-FLO Carbon Fiber Intake. Coming Soon.

We gave the MINI F56 an attitude adjustment with the AWE Tuning Touring and Track Edition Exhausts, now it’s time for some signature respiratory refinement. Below is a sneak peek into the development process of the soon-to-be AWE Tuning MINI F56 S-FLO Carbon Fiber Intake.

More updates to come. Stay tuned.

Josh,

my JCW is ready for you.
Don't forget to line up the vinyl guy when I come down for fitment of AWE decal package etc.

Thanks Rich

And yet, another tease. It would be nice to get an idea of the price range and appearance so I can decide whether or not to put my Cravenspeed intake up for sale. It's off the car right now for a recall.

Tell Cravenspeed to keep it. The AWE set up will make power not loose power like all the other open/hot air intakes. Its thoroughly engineered.

Kind of hard to do. I've been running it for 3 months. I took it off because my dealer is coming to pick up my car Monday for the crankshaft bearing TSB.

Looking at AWE's other offerings, I think we're in for at least $500

I highly doubt it will make power. I'm sure it will look pretty like the Duell AG though.

Haha, $500 will make it a lot easier for me to pull the trigger on NM's

Go ahead and spend ur money on a hot air intake that looses power with no engineering, flow bench testing or dyno work involved.
NM likes the profit margin on those "cash-flow" devices though.
At least it will sound cool.

Haha! No, I just don't think ANY intake is going to generate any additional power.
I definitely like your design as the open-air intakes make no sense to me at all.
And who doesn't love carbon fiber?! 😉

Either way, I look forward to seeing it.

To be clear... we don't release a product if it doesn't unlock additional power. Point blank.

That is a good question. I'm not sure who couldn't like sexy CF!
