What pads are you running with those? I saw the rotors at AMVIV. They looked and sounded really like smart ideas [the curved slots and phosphorous(?) coating]. But I had JUST got new rotors and pads the week before!! Timing is everything.

My buddy just got a set of these too. I am needing new rotors pretty much like now, I have been told to hold off until I can see these.

Where can I find a pic and some specs? I do not think it is published yet on thier site...

Consider Hawk pads or the ones that TSW recommends

rather than the GreenStuffs.

My GreenStuffs were so hard that they ate up my EBC rotors. I got rid of the Greenstuffs after they didn't wear out at all over 40,000+ miles, but my rotors DID in the same time. The rotors got badly grooved. They looked like they had been gouged. It made the brakes really rough, even though they still stopped allright. I will not get GreenStuffs again.

I am now running Mintex on OEM-replacement Brembo rotors.

I have the rotors, and they are nice. BUT, now after a short period of time (2 months) they are rusted to hell. Amazing. I thought the coating would work better than that. Performance is smooth and good, but now they look kinda A$$y. Price is right though!
Cheers,
Skottoman

Could you be a little more specific as to where you would apply this and which of the products would blend in to the natural finish on stock rotors(I.E. the stainless finish). I have stock JCW rotors and would like to put something on the outside diameter to stop the rust.
Thanks for your help, Steve

Hi ,You would want the 2300 dark grey /black Gunkote. I have a Ferodo Black lightning series disc on my Buell, they used Gunkote from the factory. When I used the brake, the pad simply wore off the coating in that area. However the disc should be sand blasted. Scrub the friction area with solvent and a scotchbrite pad, tape that area off and sand blast the rest. Remove the tape, clean and apply the gunkote per instructions, it is extremely durable ,heat resistant and goes on very thin. I love the stuff, and have used it on cylinders and heads etc
