Was DEI's comments censored? I don't see any follow up...

I have done this on the car. I can give you a pick but not eariler when i get home so in october.

But remember i didn't have a front bracket for wheels and steering wheel on the car. So the access to the header was much easyer than the composed car.

I have installed the M7 aerogel header blanket and so far it has worked as advertised. In regards to one persons post about the heat build-up, I just moved the header heatshield down a bit to help with the under hood airflow. I have no idea if it was necessary, and I don't think anyone really does, but my coolant and power steering res. are noticeably cooler while sitting still.

Wow funny to look at post you don't remember posting.
UPDATE: I ended up using HI-TEMP paint to black out M7/Powertone exhaust. I removed heatshielding cause it rattled and vibrated and used header wrap inside battey box under battery.

I installed my megan header 3 days ago and I wrapped it with thermal wrap, I can say that the heat on the engine bay is less, also it looks great under the hood

Ceramic coating on outside only

I just spoke with Jet Hot a few weeks back, they are about 1/2 mile from my house. They do all my Mini headers. On the headers with the flex joint and cat, they only do the outside. On my Classic Mini headers they do both the inside and outside.
