Just wondering... how hard is it to change the supercharger to a new one? What steps are involved? Do I need to jack the engine?? Is it just simply unbolt, put new one on, bolt on?

anyhow, the below pic is the tear down of his front end to switch out to the m62 supercharger.


right behind the dipstick is where the OEM supercharger was.

 

IIRC, you need to put the car into 'service mode' - remove front bumper, unbolt and tilt radiator forward. Then unbolt the IC and the SC (and peripherals.) No need to jack the engine.

 

Here's a picture of mine without the supercharger.

Indeed tilt forward so all airconditioning hoses can stay in place.
