ENGINE SWAP
I want to engine swap to VTEC or M engine.
Have anyone done it?
I start to like orthodox car such as NA engine, Drive by mussle and etc.

I know folks with the VTEC in the old Minis but not in the newer ones.

I would be easier to modify the stock engine.
I think it would be cheaper too...
There is not much room in the MINI engine bay, so I doubt a M3 engine would fit in. And a VTEC engine, why would you want that?? lol

Regarding the M3 engine, it's been done. It won't be easy or cheap, but it's been done.
Regarding the VTEC, the aftermarket is so much deeper than ours is one reason I can think of.

I have seen pictures of the M3 engined car. The entire firewall had to be pushed back and it runs no hood. BUt if that is your goal. Good on ya!

Was this the 6 or 4 cylinder M3 engine? Maybe the s14 (e30) engine wouldn't be so difficult to fit.

Seen a 6 cylinder M3 engine out of a E36, was the earlier 3.0, that did have a hood, but was very heavily modded

Here is the beast you speak of... Although it would be much easier to do a turbo only kit. Still, uber-trick car!

The only stock bits on that car must be the door handles and maybe the unibody.

Are you two serious...?
(You couldn't transverse mount that motor in a truck, let alone a MINI.)
