Here are some Pics from our failed attempt at drag racing today. We headed out to Englishtown NJ and it rained and they ended up closing the track (after we ate).

I think we need to get a Watchung Reservation run going. Anyone familiar with that area? Union County, NJ. Nice twisties - in fact, you could do a quasi closed course through there. Some two-way radios, MINI's at the top, MINI's at the bottom...I'm based in Chatham, and there are some real nice roads out this way.

They closed the grease trucks this year for being UNSANITARY! They are open again though...

Lets just say I was 3 car's back or more and I could hear them quite clearly. i think they will be to lowd for me since i drive my Cooper S everyday and some times for 3 or 4 hours striaght

Do they have drag racing every Friday???

I'd love to go with you guys. I live off the Garden State Parkway in NJ - exit 142.

I try to limit my grease trucks intake cause I really think I can hear my heart slowing down when I eat them. I'm a livingston student but I live on college ave now...small world. My mini won't be here till the middle of summer though :???:

We try and go as many fridays as we can. It would be great to see a whole bunch of mini's show up there.Th announcer at etown always jokes around when we race that there will be a mini cooper nationals one day at etown. . we will keep you posted on the next run to etown. thanks again vdubdoug, those are some great pics.

That PS/B w/ Aero Kit S looks fantastic!

What wheels are those on it? The black wheels go great with the rest of the car. What size etc.
