302hp in a 2.0T Jetta? 16 valve? 202 sounds more reasonable if this is a Mk5. If it is an 8V turbo that was a 2.slow then this is possible, but........

Its not a stock Jetta by any means. It is an 06' Jetta 2.0T...stock was at 200crank yes but just dynoed at Apex in Tucson and pulled 302whp. Its a machine....but still 500lbs heavier than me so even his 100+whp difference to my car doesnt make it a bad race. I pulled to the top of third with my traction control on and was only down 2 cars. I think if my TC wouldn't have been on I wouldn't have been more than a car behind. Anyways, Jetta has a intake, exhaust, head, and a tune I believe.

NOW THE GREAT PART! That dumb light being ON made ALL the difference. Now I can still take it all the way to 7250, slam it into 2nd, get a little wheel spin, hook up and take off! It was hella fun! Hahaha. Thank you guys, you made my night. I love this place sometimes

What do YoooooU know about the Vee-Dub Mister? An APR Stage 3+ should put down near 400 now with the 2.0T. You doing that too? Are you Mini-less yet? What's the hold up?

I do, but only as the very last resort.

I have DSC. As noted above, if I hold the toggle down for a second or 2 the light stays on. I have to do this every time the car is started (which I do every time unless there is snow on the ground).

This happened to my car a few months ago - it was a faulty bypass valve.

I am in process of changing my stock BPV with a DTuned one. I think that is the problem as I have seen many issues that were discussed in this forum.

Well before you go ordering parts... Pull the BPV and see if it closes all the way. The valve has a bit of adjustment. Just loosen the two bolts and it moves around.

Well since APR stage 3 is not in full production yet I would be suprised if that is what he had on the car...sure they have shown pictures....and the Stage 3 car was at SEMA.....but the only one I know of that has a "kit" on it that isn't factory owned is in Korea....

I am just very doubtful of 300whp in a 2.0T application yet. Taken with that is the shop where he dyno'd is infamous here in Tucson for asking customers what whp they want to see, then futzing with the SAE corrections to make it show that number.....you can see where I am going......let's see a rundown of the stuff done to the car...then see if it is a reasonable number....

BTW the MINI is still running on a parasite, but only for about 2 more weeks

Still doubt the car puts down that kind of power. Would be a first AFAIK.

Well I just called the guy up, he said the only things done to the car is an intake, straight pipe back, and revo software. He showed me the dyno sheet and indeed it shows 302whp....which does sound pretty OUT there for just the listed mods. The car stock put down 200bhp, at 302whp thats nearly 340bhp at 15% drivetrain loss....I guess now that I see it, it doesnt make sense at all, your not going to see 340bhp out of that...he said he also did a some little pcv valve mod...or maybe bpv....who knows...sounded like a VGS type mod. Hope that kinda helps. I need to go to APEX...I would love to have 300whp

Spence,
Those guys are doche's. Typical of them. Just FYI, my GTI put down 197whp with a Milltek CBE on the DynoDynamics machine at DynoComp in Scottsdale. An intake is not gonna give you any power, and most Revo cars are in the 217-225whp. That is on dynojets like Apex. That kinda crap is what gives dynos a bad name. If yur buddy wants a local dyno that is realistic take it to IA performance on Ina. Their Mustang dyno is known in the local Subi and VW crowd as the "heartbreaker". My MINI, with the mods below put down 169whp on that dyno. Most other folks here with my mods put down >180whp....FWIW, YMMV

Opps! My mods aren't listed anymore!
Basically 15%, 2%, CAI, Magnaflow, nology, Pilo pack, Denso's and stock programming.
