let's say i took my engine apart and did a new rotating assbly. and decided to balance the crank . are the stock flywheels zero balanced or are they balanced with the crank as a set at the factory?

I would suspect that the stock flywheel is neutral-balanced. None of the vendors selling aftermarket flywheels say anything about having to drill their replacement flywheels to bring the rotating assembly into balance.

Wouldn't hurt to call the vendors to make sure.

i plan on reusing the stock flywheel . i like it heavy. less accidental lag . i'm not always in boy racer mode so occasional low rpm running does happen and the car pulls well .1500 rpms is nothing . thx GIAC!!!!
