Used pulley?

Any comments about buying a used pulley? Is there any risk involved? If you mod-gurus could speak up, I'd greatly appreciate it!

That depends on who put it on and who took it off. They don't really wear out.
What brand?

My $0.02 - I think the risk of anything going wrong because of a used pulley is minimal. That said, it seems they usually go for $20-30 less than a new one. Given the effort involved in installing the pulley, and the significant cost if something DID go wrong, I will spend the extra few bucks on new. Also, vendors will often lend out the puller as well, which can save you $$ if you don't have access to one.

And to ad....
If you go to Vegas (or other event) or look for a NAM group buy you can save around $20 on NEW.
Or find a buy it / install deal
